Remember the adorable pictures of Julia from a few months ago? Well, she just turned one and I had the great pleasure of photographing her first birthday party this past weekend. I met with her mom a few days before the event and I was amazed to see that Julia was already up and walking around the house like a pro, and during her party she was no different, cruising around to check out all the activity.
Julia’s parents had lots of friends and family join them at their cabin on the Sandy river, and had a campfire and barbecued food along with the usual birthday cupcakes and presents. A special treat was a visit from Julia’s music teacher, who played guitar and sang with the guests and also brought along lots of cool toys such as a parachute, and buckets to use as musical instruments.
Julia had another very special guest, one of her good friends, Emory, who had just turned one herself, so both girls were treated to cupcakes and a round of “happy birthday.”
